What a celebration-of-life planner does that a funeral home does not
Families call Natacha and ask whether they still need a funeral home. They almost always do. The two roles solve different problems.
The funeral home holds the licence
In Florida, care of the body, cremation, burial, and the filings that go with them are the work of a licensed funeral establishment. That is their profession and their legal responsibility. Your family hires them directly and pays them directly.
Natacha holds the plan
She is an independent celebration-of-life planner. She builds the timeline, coordinates the venue and the vendors, designs how the service actually runs, and stands with your family on the day so somebody other than you is watching the clock.
She is not a funeral director and does not present herself as one. When the two roles work together, the funeral home does what it is licensed to do and Natacha carries everything around it.
Where families feel the difference
- Somebody returns the florist's call so you are not doing it from the car
- The order of service is written down before the morning of, not decided in the parking lot
- The people who need to speak know when they are speaking
- Your relatives get to be relatives instead of staff
That last one is the reason most families call her. Grief and logistics are hard to do at the same time, and only one of them can be handed to someone else.
